Roaming Tariffs
Roaming on the Afghan Wireless Postpaid connection makes you accessible across 343 networks in 123 countries worldwide, providing you with the most comprehensive coverage offered by any operator in Afghanistan.

All you need to do to set-up your Roaming connection is the following:

•  Lodge a security deposit of 25,000 Af (500 USD)

•  Pay a monthly service fee of 300 Af (6 USD)

Calls made by you while roaming overseas, shall be billed as per the rates charged by Afghan Wireless roaming partner, taxes (if any) plus Afghan Wireless International Roaming mark up.

Note: Rates applied by roaming partners may change from time to time depending on the statute that governs in that country, in which case such information is updated as soon as the same is notified to Afghan Wireless.

Scenarios and charges for making and receiving calls while roaming

Calling an Afghan Wireless subscriber or any other number in Afghanistan:

You will be charged as per the calling rate to Afghanistan, as charged by the roaming partner which you use for international roaming and taxes (if any) plus Afghan Wireless International Roaming mark up.

Calling a GSM subscriber within the network/country you are currently roaming in:

You will be charged as per the domestic rates, as charged by the roaming partner which you use for international roaming, and taxes (if any) plus Afghan Wireless International Roaming mark up.

Calling a GSM subscriber in a country, other than Afghanistan and the one you are currently roaming in:

You will be charged as per the calling rates to the country called, as charged by the roaming partner which you use for international roaming and taxes (if any) plus Afghan Wireless International Roaming mark up.

Sending SMS to a subscriber within/outside the network you are currently roaming in:

You will be charged the SMS rates, as charged by the roaming partner which you use for international roaming and taxes (if any) plus Afghan Wireless International Roaming mark up.

For calls that are received while roaming overseas, you will be charged international long distance charges, from Afghanistan to the country that you are currently roaming in, airtime as charged by the Roaming partner (if any), taxes (if any) and Afghan Wireless International Roaming mark up on all the above charges.
