Job description: Civil Engineer
Empl. Status: Full Time
SUMMARY:
- To develop construction designs, material lists, plans and provide an advanced level of civil engineering support to develop telecommunications, power generators, microwave, satellite and GSM antenna tower and personnel facilities. These facilities will require public works expertise in developing foundations, facility grounding, drainage, sewer sanitization and grading expertise.
- Responsible for all civil engineering design, and implementation planning and support of all TSI Wireless, Microwave and Satellite telecommunications network facility planning, construction, and documentation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to:
Manages/monitors the design and structural development of complex Wireless telecommunications facilities.
Analyzes, designs, administers plans, material and resources for all civil engineering efforts.
Designs, Oversees and/or performs the physical layout of all civil engineering drawings, plans and documentation.
Supervises the installation of all civil works in country.

General supervision from the Operations head of area.

May be responsible for supervision of civil works, HVAC, electrical, mechanical technicians and engineers and civil work laborers.
EDUCATION:
EXPERIENCE:
-
7 years experience in requirements analysis, construction design and installation of Satellite, Microwave systems and other wireless telecommunications networking foundations, facilities, grounding, and utilities preparation, construction and documentation.
- Experience in development of these facilities as stand-alone, self contained units in an environment with a limited public utility infrastructure.

Work requires the exercise of considerable judgement in the applications, procedures and techniques to
design and implement wireless networking solutions. Serious consequences may result from poor
judgement in terms of "down-time", customer outages, and lost or damaged information.
