Dulhan SMS Contest:

Afghan Wireless joined hand with it’s counterpart Ariana Television and sponsored one of their well renowned TV serials “Dulhan”. Dulhan is viewed by a large number of audiences and is especially very popular amongst ladies of all personas. Keeping in mind the viewer ship this serial was getting, Afghan Wireless planned to go for a sms contest. The contest was named “Dulhan SMS Contest” which ran for a total of 55 days.

A question was asked to the viewer which was related to the story line of that episode of Dulhan. Afghan Wireless consumers can participate by sending their answers to SMS short code 2222 on a daily basis, except Thursday & Friday. There were 5,500 winners who Won Free Airtime worth 5,50,000/-Af in 55 days and a grand draw done which enabled 150 more lucky winners to win TV’s, Refrigerators and Microwave ovens worth 7,50,000/-Af. A total of 1.3 Million Af was invested by Afghan Wireless for the promotional gifts and prizes altogether. Along with the sales and marketing team of afghan Wireless Mr. Amin Ramin the Managing Director of Afghan Wireless distributed the prizes to 150 lucky winners at a ceremony held at a local Hotel in Kabul city.

Afghan Wireless plays a strong role in the re-building of the society and re-investing by organizing / sponsoring sports event like Run Race, Bike Race etc. These builds up solidarity and bring a feeling of togetherness among people of Afghanistan.
