Prize Distribution Ceremony “Know Your Afghanistan” SMS Contest.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony of “Know Your Afghanistan Contest” was held at Ariana Television premises today.

Being a true Afghan company, Afghan Wireless launched the “Know Your Afghanistan” SMS contest with single minded objective of creating excitement among the young Afghans to develop interest in the rich cultural heritage of our beloved nation. The basic information questions about Afghanistan were asked on Ariana TV and radio with an incentive to win 10 brand new powerful motorcycles through a draw to be held after August 19th to mark the celebration of National Independence Day. In addition, 200 lucky customers would win Af100 daily.

Addressing the occasion the Chairman of Afghan Wireless Mr. Ehsan Bayat said,”I am very happy to see the participation especially from farthest cities like Badakhshan as well as female participation which show the interest this contest created in all segments of the population and their excitement about the country.”  He also advised the winners while handing over the keys to enjoy the ride on this gift from Afghan Wireless and not to forget to Wear Helmet When Riding a Bike!

The winners were very excited on this occasion specially those who came from cities other than Kabul. They expressed their excitement by making statements like, Afghan Wireless is a true Afghan Company as it has brought the national feeling among all of us by giving away prizes to many cities other than Kabul which no other company does.

The winners were 3 from Kabul, 1 from Khost, 2 from Kanadahar, 1 from Jalalabad, 1 from Kunduz, 1 from Badakhshan,and 1 from Hirat.
