Afghan Wireless Nominated for Global Mobile Awards 2007
The GSM Association announced the Global Mobile Awards nominations for 2007. Now in its 12th year, the Global Mobile Awards programme continues to grow with the industry that it represents. Each year the number of submissions increases, and this year was no exception, with a remarkable 20 per cent more entries than 2006.
Each entry has been evaluated by the independent judging panel of globally based wireless analysts, journalists, academics and subject experts - all industry professionals with in-depth knowledge of the mobile industry and its applications and influences on today's world.
Afghan Wireless, the first mobile operator in Afghanistan has been nominated for - Best Network Quality Initiative Award for 2007 for its entry titled Afghanistan GSM-The Silk Route.
This award nomination is really a tribute to all the efforts put in by Afghan Wireless to provide the Afghan consumers with world class GSM services.
